Head of Equity Fund Resources

Guy Simpson heads the Equity Fund Resources group at Bridge Bank, a central hub for the private equity and venture capital communities. Providing financial solutions such as venture capital call lines of credit, SBIC funds, and other credit facilities, Guy helps clients across the U.S. that are focused on the goal of being responsive to their portfolio company needs and enhancing IRR. Based in Reston, VA, he joined Western Alliance’s Bridge Bank in 2017 and has more than 20 years of tech lending experience in Silicon Valley and other innovation centers.

Mr. Simpson began his banking career in 1997 as a tech lender. He worked with raw startups through public multinational companies during the boom and bust of the early 2000’s, as well as through the Great Recession in the late 2000’s. He has been banking private equity and venture capital funds since 2011.

Active in the community, Mr. Simpson is an ambulance driver for the Ashburn Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department. He is a former board member of University Preparatory Academy Charter School in San Jose, CA.

Mr. Simpson graduated with an MBA with an emphasis in Finance from Santa Clara University.
