Johnathon Guov supports Western Alliance Bank’s Blockchain & Digital Assets group by managing loan and deposit portfolio growth and health. He plays a key role in mitigating risk due to changes in the market. He previously served as senior credit risk review officer for Western Alliance Bank. His earlier experience includes commercial credit, loan and risk mitigation roles for two major national banks and the NMLS.

Mr. Guov earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Washington and an MBA from the Atkinson Graduate School of Management at Willamette University in Oregon. He is currently completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at Western Governors University in Salt Lake City. He holds Credit Risk Certification (CRC) from the Risk Management Association.
