Western Alliance Bank Joins Hot August Nights Coat Drive to Warm Local Children This October

2 Western Alliance Bank Locations Accepting Donations for Hot August Nights Foundation Winter Coat Drive, Oct. 1-31

October 01, 2025

RENO — Western Alliance Bank and its employees encourage the public to join them in providing warm winter coats to Northern Nevada children in need by participating in the Hot August Nights Foundation (HANF) Coat Drive, Oct. 1-31, 2025.

Again this year, Western Alliance Bank is joining the effort to help families facing economic uncertainty and other hardships. The coat drive collects new and gently used coats for children and families that may not have adequate winter clothing.

All new and gently used coats will be provided to the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, which will distribute them to families in time for the winter months.

“This event is just one way for us to give back to the community by helping those in need,” said Jim DeVolld, Managing Director at Western Alliance Bank. “By supporting  the Hot August Nights Foundation and the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, we can do our part to assist the youth and families in our community and make sure they don’t feel the cold this winter.”

The public is encouraged to drop off new and gently used coats at donation boxes around town. Western Alliance Bank is proud to participate with donation boxes at two of its office locations — Kietzke and Sparks Marina:

  • Kietzke: 5335 Kietzke Lane, Reno, NV 89511
  • Sparks Marina: 725 Sparks Blvd., Sparks, NV 89434

Additional drop-off locations:

  • Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, 1330 Foster Drive, Reno, NV 89509
  • Hot August Nights Office, 1425 East Greg St., Sparks, NV 89431
