First Independent Bank, a division of Western Alliance Bank, to Open New Carson City Office
Larger, more convenient location brings expanding team to support vibrant business community
CARSON CITY – First Independent Bank, the Northern Nevada division of Western Alliance Bank, is moving to a spacious new Carson City location — just across the street from its current office — and is scheduled to open on June 9th.
First Independent Bank will occupy the entire freestanding 4,000-square-foot building at 1811 East College Parkway. With three times the space of the former Carson City location, it includes upgrades like skylights, a dramatic 30-foot entrance, dedicated parking and a convenient drive-through teller window.
Conveniently located adjacent to Carson City airport, as well as numerous manufacturing and other businesses, the modern brick building features excellent visibility and signage, making it easier for clients to find. The state-of-the-art office offers a more comfortable environment for business owners, conducive to managing daily transactions and discussing tailored banking solutions.
The additional space also enables the bank to better support the existing Carson City team and welcomes four existing team members who currently commute to First Independent Bank in Reno. A total of 13 bank staff will operate from the new location, including Angela Rowan, Vice President of Business Banking, and Ellie Piazza, Preferred Banking Manager. The bank will continue to offer a range of solutions targeted to the needs of Northern Nevada’s dynamic industries, including construction, gaming, health care, manufacturing and other sectors.
“Our team here at First Independent Bank is focused on truly understanding the unique needs of businesses in Northern Nevada. This new Carson City office reinforces our commitment to the community and strengthens our resources for a customer-focused approach,” said Jim DeVolld, Managing Director, Commercial Banking. “After serving this community for 20 years, this larger and enhanced space will allow us to provide even greater care for our clients and to support expanding businesses and industries in this region.”
The former office at 1818 East College Parkway will permanently close on June 6th.
