Bank of Nevada Employees Delivering Holiday Cheer to Nellis and Creech Air Force Base Families
Support of the U.S. Air Force Adopt-A-Family Program Ensures Nevada’s Military Families Enjoy A Festive Holiday
LAS VEGAS -- Bank of Nevada employees are answering the call to help make the holidays much brighter for Nellis and Creech Air Force Base personnel and their families.
For the fourth year, Bank of Nevada employees are “adopting” families in the Nellis and Creech Air Force Base Adopt-A-Family Program by providing gifts for the children of military personnel. Donors also have the option to give gifts to adult family members. Air Force supervisors are responsible for selecting families that may need a little extra assistance during the holidays. Bank of Nevada will provide gifts to 75 Air Force families this year.
“We are grateful for the sacrifice our military members make throughout the year on our behalf, and it’s wonderful to have a way to show our appreciation,” said Bob Cerminaro, division CEO of Bank of Nevada. “I’m so proud Bank of Nevada employees have stepped up again this year to ensure military families have a joyous holiday.”
The Adopt-A-Family program provides information about each military family member, including children's ages, interests and hobbies, clothing size, and other specific needs.
“The amount of support we have received from Southern Nevada for the Adopt-A-Family Program is absolutely amazing to see,” said SMSgt Jennifer LaPlante, Nellis Air Force Base. “We have literally filled up a hangar with gifts due to the amount of love and support our community has for the airmen of Nellis and Creech Air Force Bases.”
