Robert Kong is Vice President, Affordable Housing Investments. Based in Phoenix, he manages the national affordable housing debt portfolio for the Western Alliance Bank Affordable Housing Investments team.
Prior to joining Western Alliance Bank, Mr. Kong was a portfolio manager at Bankers Trust where he helped manage the southwest regional commercial real estate loan portfolio. Prior to Bankers Trust, Mr. Kong worked for The Howard Hughes Corporation focusing the development of Ward Village, a 60-acre urban mixed-use master planned community in the heart of Honolulu, HI.
Mr. Kong graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and earned a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University in the City of New York.
