Senior Director Commercial Banking

Walter Y. Hashimoto is senior director, commercial banking for Western Alliance Bank and a team leader for the Business Banking group. Primarily based in Henderson, his team helps serve a wide range of high-net-worth individuals and business clients throughout the region, including manufacturers, contractors, healthcare and non-profits. In addition, as leader of the healthcare banking team, Mr. Hashimoto specializes in physician-based healthcare and helps organizations find solutions to their lending and cash management needs. He joined Bank of Nevada in 2006 and has over 35 years of banking industry experience.

Active in the community, Mr. Hashimoto serves on the board of Las Vegas HEALS, he is a two-time Past Chapter President of the Risk Management Association of Las Vegas, sits on the Nevada State University Foundation Board where he also serves as the Treasurer of the finance committee. In addition, he has been a speaker at various healthcare conferences around the country. Mr. Hashimoto also participates on various committees for the American Lung Association, the Risk Management Association and participates with multiple Chamber of Commerce groups.

Mr. Hashimoto holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
