Sam Kang is a senior vice president and senior relationship manager with Western Alliance Bank’s Private Client Group, delivering concierge banking and mortgage solutions designed to meet the complex needs of clients and their trusted advisors. He joined Western Alliance Bank in 2025, bringing nearly two decades of banking experience to his role.
Based in Beverly Hills, California, Mr. Kang provides highly personalized, high-touch banking and lending solutions to high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs and their families. He is known for his thoughtful, client-centric approach and his ability to leverage deep industry and vertical expertise to deliver solutions aligned with each client’s financial goals, fostering meaningful, long-term relationships.
His expertise spans residential and commercial real estate financing, portfolio and investment property lending, and capital solutions supported by personal and business cash flow. Before joining Western Alliance, Mr. Kang served high-net-worth individuals at J.P. Morgan Private Bank and First Republic Bank, advising clients across the legal, medical and healthcare, finance and real estate sectors, and supporting entrepreneurs through significant financial decisions.
Mr. Kang earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, San Diego. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses, along with life and health insurance licenses. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, golf, tennis, attending sporting events, and exploring new travel and food experiences.
