Based in New York, Nick Beato is a Senior Vice President within the Blockchain and Digital Assets Group at Western Alliance Bank. He is the primary relationship owner for the bank's institutional digital asset clients, including market makers, stablecoin issuers, exchanges and venture funds. Since joining the bank in 2022, he has helped build the franchise from the ground up, focusing on giving fintech and institutional clients access to banking rails for treasury, trade settlement and payments.
Before joining Western Alliance, Mr. Beato co-founded and led Blackchip Technologies, a venture-backed fintech company that built tokenized alternative investment products. He took the company's offering through SEC Regulation A registration, one of the first of its kind. He began his career in Ernst & Young's FSO division, providing portfolio valuation services to private equity funds.
Mr. Beato earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Pace University's Lubin School of Business.
