As senior director of Western Alliance Bank’s Blockchain & Digital Assets group, Mike Riley leads a team focused on credit structuring and market dynamics responsiveness, strengthening customer relationships and strategic market growth.

Previously, Mr. Riley served as chief credit administration officer for Western Alliance Bank. He joined Western Alliance Bank in 2012 as senior finance counsel after seven years as a commercial finance and real estate attorney.

Mr. Riley completed a joint degree program at Syracuse University, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the College of Law and earning his master’s degree in Economics from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. He is admitted to the State Bar of Arizona and completed the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking and Leadership Certificate program at the University of Pennsylvania-Wharton.
