MBallou Conde-Kouyate
Senior Director, Head of Government Banking
MBallou Conde-Kouyate is the senior director and head of Government Banking at Western Alliance Bank. Based in the Washington, D.C., metro region, she leads the bank’s public-sector market expansion strategy, overseeing the delivery of financial solutions designed to meet the complex requirements of government clients.
Ms. Conde-Kouyate joined Western Alliance in 2025 and brings more than 18 years of related experience to the role. Previously, she served as primary business line owner (PBLO) at U.S. Bank, where she was also a government relationship manager for two major federal programs. A leader whose career spans federal government relations, corporate and commercial banking, and fintech partnerships, she delivers deep expertise in advancing modern financial solutions for institutional clients. Ms. Conde-Kouyate’s career is defined by strategic leadership, a commitment to process excellence and a proven ability to deliver measurable value in highly regulated financial environments.
Ms. Conde-Kouyate holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM), graduating with honors (Mention: Très-Bien). She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) through the Project Management Institute.
