Lynne Herndon is Chief Credit Officer of Western Alliance Bancorporation.
As CCO, Ms. Herndon is the senior executive of Western Alliance’s credit administration department, with oversight of the organization’s credit risk processes and functions. With 35 years of credit risk and lending experience, Ms. Herndon performs a critical role in establishing and maintaining Western Alliance’s credit risk architecture as well as ensuring continuous portfolio monitoring.
Prior to joining Western Alliance, Ms. Herndon was the West Region Credit Executive for PNC Bank, where she was responsible for the credit quality of the region’s middle market and corporate loan portfolios. At BBVA USA (acquired by PNC in 2021), she was the Chief Wholesale Credit Risk Officer, with responsibility for the underwriting, credit risk approval, loan closing and asset recovery functions for the commercial and industrial, commercial real estate, corporate and wealth portfolios.
Ms. Herndon graduated from the University of Alabama with a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She also holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
