Larry Sherman

Larry Sherman is managing director for the California region of Western Alliance Bank’s Innovation Banking Group where he oversees the relationship management and business development efforts for his team, supporting innovation companies with flexible lending solutions and cash management from inception to IPO.
Mr. Sherman has over 20 years of industry experience working with founders, investors and industry professionals. Prior to joining Western Alliance Bank's legacy brand, Bridge Bank, he held various leadership positions at City National Bank, Wachovia and Balboa Capital.
Mr. Sherman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is a proud dad of two girls and can be found on the weekends volunteering for girl scouts, serving as a stroke and turn swim official or acting as an unofficial family ski instructor.
