Ken Sonner
Managing Director Mid-Atlantic & Southern Central Regions
With more than three decades of banking and leadership experience, Ken Sonner joined Western Alliance Bank in 2024 as Managing Director of the Alliance Association Banking group, overseeing the Mid-Atlantic & Southern Central regions.
Throughout his career, Mr. Sonner has developed a deep expertise in building tailored solutions for his clients. Before joining Western Alliance Bank, he held leadership roles at WesBanco, Old Line Bank, EagleBank, Community Bank of Arizona and 1st National Bank of Arizona. His expertise is in developing customized solutions to meet clients’ needs, leading to the successful growth and expansion of his teams.
Mr. Sonner holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Dickinson College. In addition to his professional role, he coaches youth sports, including cross country, basketball and baseball.
