Katherine Young serves as managing director of sales operations and marketing for the Association Banking group at Western Alliance Bank.
Her banking career spans more than 35 years specializing in the industry-specific needs of homeowner associations and community management companies.
Before joining Western Alliance Bank, Ms. Young managed the Association Bank Services division at First Bank for over 20 years, where she was part of a team that pioneered one of the first association banking programs in the country while also managing customer service, lockbox remittance processing, marketing, and sales. After Union Bank acquired First Bank’s HOA division, Young became director and western regional sales manager for Union Bank’s HOA division.
Ms. Young is committed to working with her team to provide clients with exceptional customer service and banking expertise combined with access to innovative and customized product and technology solutions designed for the community management and homeowner association industry.
Ms. Young is an active member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), the California Association of Community Managers (CACM), and the Educational Community for Homeowners (ECHO). She has served as a board member of the BayCen Chapter of CAI and previously served on several committees as well as chairperson of the chapter’s golf committee for many years.
Ms. Young received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Davis, and resides with her family in the San Francisco Bay Area.
