Jennifer Hwang is the Industry Executive for Western Alliance Bank’s Healthcare Banking Group. Based in New York City, she leads a national commercial banking team focused on delivering strategic financial advice and solutions to healthcare organizations. Leveraging nearly two decades of experience and long standing relationships across the healthcare ecosystem, she will build upon the strong franchise that Western Alliance has with its Life Sciences Team to support clients across a wide range of subsectors—including specialty pharmaceuticals, providers, home health and hospice, medical technology and devices, and other key areas.
Ms. Hwang joined Western Alliance Bank in 2025 with more than 25 years of corporate and commercial banking experience across healthcare, technology, financial institutions and public finance. Previously, she held leadership roles with City National Bank (Royal Bank of Canada subsidiary) and U.S. Bank with previous experience at Bank of America, Citigroup and Morgan Stanley.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University and an MBA in Management and Marketing from Columbia Business School.
