Ian Hawk is the New York market manager for Western Alliance Bank’s Note Finance Group. In this role, he is responsible for offering differentiated leverage solutions to private credit platforms in the region.
Mr. Hawk joined Western Alliance in 2025 with nearly a decade of experience in public and private real estate credit, including the analytical, capital markets and origination aspects of the business. With additional expertise in leveraging AI and coding for data analysis, he brings clients a deep understanding of technical and customized solutions tailored to their needs and backed by data-driven insights for informed decision-making. Previously, he held roles at Lument, Dwight Securities Management, Walker & Dunlop and Fitch Ratings.
Mr. Hawk is active in his community, volunteering his time with Project Ezrah, a community organization that provides job placement and other services to families in need. He was previously a volunteer firefighter with Woodmere Fire Department.
Mr. Hawk holds a Bachelor of Finance degree from the Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University. He was once featured in Commercial Observer’s 25 Under 35 in Real Estate Finance list.
