Daniel Schroeder is senior vice president for Western Alliance Bank’s Private Client Group. Based in San Diego, he provides high-touch private banking and customized credit solutions to business owners, executives and investors and has particular expertise in the needs of family offices. Mr. Schroeder integrates the bank’s Private Client Group services with each client’s broader advisory team, including wealth managers, attorneys and CPAs, to ensure every banking decision supports their long-term wealth strategy.

Mr. Schroeder joined Western Alliance in 2026 with more than 20 years of experience serving high-net-worth clients. He brings particular expertise in credit strategy, relationship management, and banking and treasury management, as well as the biotech, private equity and real estate sectors. Before joining Western Alliance, he was director of Banking and Lending Services at Sapient Capital, where he led strategy for client banking relationships and advised clients on credit solutions. He previously served as executive director at JPMorgan Chase and spent eight years managing private banking and lending services for clients at First Republic Bank. Earlier in his career, he held a dual role as director of Banking and Lending and director of Corporate Trust Services for a large family office.

A graduate of San Diego State University, he also completed the Executive Leadership Development Program (Levels I and II) at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
