Dan Pistone is senior managing director of the Sponsor Finance Group at Western Alliance Bank. Based in San Jose, his team serves clients throughout the U.S., financing emerging, mid- and late-stage companies from inception to IPO and beyond. During his tenure, he helped establish the bank’s Technology Banking, Equity Fund Resources, Life Sciences and Renewable Resource groups.
Mr. Pistone joined Western Alliance Bank in 2003, before which he was a managing director of Inspiration Capital Ventures, LLC, a private capital advisory firm. In all, he has over 30 years of banking and financial industry experience.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Saint Mary’s College and graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.
