Carol Newinn Shepperd is a Senior Vice President for Western Alliance Bank’s Greater Los Angeles Commercial & Industrial Banking office. As a customer-centric relationship manager, she uses the full depth and breadth of Western Alliance Bank’s capabilities to support middle market companies in achieving their goals.

Based in the Downtown Los Angeles area, Ms. Shepperd joined Western Alliance Bank in 2024 with more than 18 years of experience in commercial and international banking. She has worked with companies in a variety of industries and business stages, ranging from pre-revenue up to $3 billion in annual sales. Previously, she worked in-house for a Series D fintech startup, helping to establish their cash and capital management protocols and providing a view of finance from the client side.

Ms. Shepperd sits on the Board of the Stuart M. Ketchum Downtown YMCA of Los Angeles. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Business Honors from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. In 2015, she earned her Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) credential. She is a former NFL Cheerleader for the Houston Texans.
