Alan Wright is a senior vice president, commercial and industrial banking at Western Alliance Bank. He is responsible for cultivating banking relationships that meet the needs of middle market manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, service and not-for-profit businesses.

Mr. Wright joined Western Alliance Bank in 2024 with over 30 years of experience in middle market banking, with particular expertise in credit and financial analysis. With additional background in real estate and as an executive in a multimillion-dollar organization, he delivers insightful, strategic solutions and exceptional client service.

Based in Los Angeles, Mr. Wright joined Western Alliance Bank in 2024. He is a board member emeritus for Habitat for Humanity Greater Los Angeles and received the President’s Volunteer Service Award from President Barack Obama for his volunteer efforts. Additionally, he is active in the UCLA Alumni Association, Graziadio School of Business at Pepperdine University Alumni Association and National Black MBA Association.

Mr. Wright earned a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Finance from the Graziadio Business School at Pepperdine University, a Bachelor of Science in History, and a Bachelor of Arts in African American Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. He holds certifications in accounting and real estate development and is a licensed California real estate broker.
