Jennifer Seto brings more than 20 years of experience to her role as vice president, commercial banking, for Torrey Pines Bank, having joined the team in 2020.
Ms. Seto is responsible for developing and growing a loan portfolio, gathering deposits and selling ancillary products such as treasury management services. Since joining the Torrey Pines Bank team, Ms. Seto’s focus has shifted to investor CRE, specifically working with private equity and debt funds. She enjoys working on opportunity zone projects and affordable housing and offers her clients holistic solutions for their business.
Prior to joining Torrey Pines Bank, Ms. Seto held leadership roles at Opus Bank, East West Bank and Comerica Bank, where she focused on commercial and industrial loans for private and public companies. Industries covered included manufacturers, wholesalers, technology and healthcare. Notable clients included Microsemi, SoFi, Obagi and Forbes.
Ms. Seto graduated from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Chinese Language and obtained a Master of International Affairs in International Relations, with a functional specialization in banking and finance, from Columbia University. Outside of her professional role, she devotes time to volunteering with Meals on Wheels, CREW Orange County and Innovative Housing Opportunities.
