Noriko Oakland is senior vice president, commercial banking, for Torrey Pines Bank. Her portfolio is vast and her clients are varied, including wholesalers, distributors, manufacturers, freight forwarders, professional service firms, franchise owners, real estate investors, synagogues and universities located throughout Los Angeles County. She holds expertise in providing business and commercial real estate loans, lines of credit, equipment financing, international banking, treasury management and deposit solutions to help clients reach their business goals. She provides personalized services by exploring every possible avenue to deliver innovative solutions to her clients quickly and decisively. Ms. Oakland consistently innovates and refines her approach to her clients in order to improve their banking experience.
She joined Torrey Pines Bank in 2008, and has over 30 years of banking industry experience.
Ms. Oakland has been recognized as one of the Most Influential Lenders in Los Angeles County by the Los Angeles Business Journal. Ms. Oakland is a member of the Project Review Committee for LISC and is a member of the Japan Business Association. She is a former board member of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Southern California.
She is a graduate of Kyoto Sangyo University, and earned an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School.
