
Annalena Thompson is senior vice president, commercial banking, for Torrey Pines Bank, where she serves as a team leader for the commercial real estate group. Ms. Thompson’s expertise is in structuring complex construction and bridge loans from $1 million to more than $50 million. Based in Carmel Valley in San Diego, she serves clients throughout the California region. She joined Torrey Pines Bank in 2008 and has more than 24 years of banking industry experience.
Ms. Thompson works with real estate developers and investors, home builders and value-added property owners in financing a variety of asset types, including: office, retail, multi-family, industrial, hospitality, single-tenant, high-end homes, self-storage, senior housing, and land acquisition & development.
Active in the community, Ms. Thompson serves as a volunteer for the National Charity League, Seaside Chapter, and as a financial expertise volunteer for Junior Achievement of San Diego County.
Ms. Thompson graduated from the University of California, San Diego, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and earned a Master of Business Administration degree, Finance, from San Diego State University.
