Chris Grassa Appointed to Neighborhood House Association Board of Directors

Torrey Pines Bank's Senior Managing Director of Commercial Banking, Chris Grassa, has recently been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Neighborhood House Association (NHA) in San Diego. 

NHA has long been a leading force in San Diego, working tirelessly to improve the quality of life for low-income individuals and families since its establishment in 1914. The organization has been instrumental in addressing poverty-related issues through a range of services encompassing healthcare, housing, education, employment, and social welfare.

Mr. Grassa’s appointment brings a wealth of expertise, extensive experience in the financial sector and a deep commitment to community development to his role on the NHA’s Board of Directors. As a valued member of the Torrey Pines Bank team, his financial acumen will significantly contribute to bolstering NHA's financial stability and optimizing resource allocation to better serve the community. He will play a pivotal role in developing financial strategies, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the association's programs and initiatives.

With over 25 years in the financial services industry, Mr. Grassa has established a reputation as a seasoned professional known for his strategic vision and strong leadership skills. Mr. Grassa currently leads three commercial banking teams in San Diego that serve clients primarily in San Diego County and throughout Southern California. 

Beyond his financial acumen, Mr. Grassa's dedication to community development and philanthropy aligns perfectly with NHA's mission. His commitment to empowering individuals and families in need will undoubtedly shape the organization's strategies, enabling NHA to provide enhanced support and resources to the communities it serves.

In addition to his role on NHA’s board of directors, Mr. Grassa is a current member of the Board of Directors and finance committee of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce and a former board and finance committee member of St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center, East County YMCA and The Boys and Girls Club of East County. He is also a graduate of LEAD Influence San Diego and served as a mentor and resource for LEAD San Diego’s Advance, a leadership development program to further the careers of top-performing women.
