Jerrie E. Merritt

Jerrie E. Merritt is division CRA, community development manager, for Bank of Nevada, where she serves as a liaison for community and economic development programs with local and state governments and nonprofit organizations while managing a diverse deposit and loan portfolio. She joined Bank of Nevada in 2004 and has 40 years of banking industry experience.
Ms. Merritt has been honored with multiple business-related awards, including the Women of Distinction Award from the National Association of Women Business Owners, as one of Vegas, Inc.’s Women to Watch in 2016, as a Top 100 Women of Influence 2017 and with the Silver State Award for Female Executive of the Year.
With a strong commitment to the local community, Ms. Merritt has served as an education and healthcare champion through consulting and mentorship roles with UNLV’s School of Medicine Community Advisory Board, Valley Hospital Medical Center and the Clark County School District Reclaim Your Future program, among others. She is also a past board chair for the Urban Chamber of Commerce and Help of Southern Nevada.
She attended the University of Alaska in Fairbanks where she studied Business and Finance.
