As a proud, fourth-generation Nevadan with a background in hospitality and business development, Kara understands the needs of Northern Nevada business owners in a variety of essential industries, including manufacturing, mining and logistics.
Kara also believes in supporting her community. She is a board member of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northern Nevada and Nevada Women’s Fund. She is also a board member of the Honorary Sheriff’s Association and was directly involved in expanding robotics and STEM opportunities for students in the Washoe County School District.
