Jennifer Hargis is assistant vice president and member of the business development team at First Independent Bank.

Hargis assists new and existing clients with all aspects of the banking relationship, including commercial lending, lines of credit, equipment financing, and a range of deposit products designed to meet the needs of small businesses. 

Although well-versed in all aspects of business banking, Hargis has additional sector experience working directly with clients in the medical and legal industries. 

While in college, Hargis worked at First Independent Bank as a teller. After graduation and a career in the medical field, she returned to First Independent Bank, working with the private banking team. 

Hargis holds a Bachelor's Degree in Community Health Sciences from the University of Nevada, Reno. In 2021, Hargis received the Western Alliance Bank Cultural Champion Award. First Independent Bank is a division of Western Alliance Bank, Member FDIC.

When not at work, Hargis enjoys spending time with her family, boating and camping adventures, and occasional travel to tropical destinations.
