Tom Woolway is senior managing director, commercial banking, for Torrey Pines Bank. Based in Carmel Valley, he serves clients throughout Southern California, including those in manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, commercial real estate, hospitality and more.

Additionally, Mr. Woolway has particular expertise in financing hospitals’ patient account receivables. He co-manages the hospital accounts receivable purchase program, which serves more than 60 hospital systems throughout the U.S. , helping them manage critical payment cycles by providing loans to individual patients. He joined Torrey Pines Bank in 2003 and has 35 years of banking industry experience.

He is an active volunteer with several nonprofit organizations, including the YMCA, the American Heart Association, the Challenged Athletes Association and the Home of Guiding Hands, which helps people with developmental disabilities to maximize their independence, productivity, and quality of life.

Mr. Woolway graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and earned a Master in Business Administration degree, Corporate Finance, from the University of Southern California. He is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington and is a retired U.S. Navy Commander.
