Gary Cady

Executive Vice President


Gary Cady is executive vice president and a key senior advisor for Western Alliance and Torrey Pines Bank. Mr. Cady is responsible for the overall strategic direction and growth of Torrey Pines Bank through a streamlined delivery of the robust array of banking products to commercial clients across Southern California. He spends much of his time advising clients on business strategies in addition to coaching the Torrey Pines Bank's leadership team and professionals.

Mr. Cady is a long-time San Diego resident who has built a distinguished 40-year career in banking with prominent and successful financial institutions, matriculating to more senior roles throughout his career and across various disciplines.

Mr. Cady holds an MBA in Financial Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He is active in the community, serving as a board member for a variety of business and civic organizations. He is the current Board Chair of Sharp Memorial Hospital and also serves on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce and Continuous Quality Insurance Corporation. Mr. Cady was also a board member of the San Diego Symphony for six years.
