Brett Wilmot is vice president for Western Alliance Bank’s Settlement Services Group.

Mr. Wilmot brings 15 years of class action experience to the Western Alliance team where he focuses on client development and relationship management. He uses a consultative approach and broad knowledge of the lifecycle of a class action claim to serve the banking needs of his client base.

Prior to joining Western Alliance, Mr. Wilmot worked in business development and client development roles for two prominent securities litigation law firms where he served institutional investors seeking to recover damages incurred due to securities fraud. He has developed and maintained proprietary portfolio monitoring systems used by institutional investors and their counsel to track exposure to and file securities class action claims. He has extensive experience calculating client losses and recoverable damages according to PSLRA guidelines. He also spent several years early in his career as an investment analyst for a $1 billion investment management firm.

Mr. Wilmot graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in statistics. He was Big Ten Champion and a 4-time NCAA All American diver on the Michigan Swimming and Diving team. He was also a 2-time member of the U.S. National Diving Team and competed in the 2000 U.S. Olympic Trials.
