
Matthew (Matt) James is managing director and group leader of the C&I Banking Team for Alliance Bank of Arizona, where he focuses on serving medium-sized businesses owned by founders, private equity firms and private wealth/family office firms. Mr. James provides an array of financing for business expansions, partner buyouts, private equity-backed transactions, quick-service restaurant franchisees and more.
As a leader for the C&I team, one of the bank's core groups, he works with organizations to tailor their financing and business objectives and help them with cash management needs. Among the specific areas of focus, the group provides cash flow and equipment-backed term loans, asset-backed lines of credit, and commercial real estate mortgages.
A third-generation Arizonan dedicated to serving Fresh Start Women's Foundation, the iconic Fiesta Bowl Committee, and the Arizona Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, James graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in Finance and Business Economics in 2002.
