Julian L. Fruhling is managing director, commercial banking, for Alliance Bank of Arizona, where his team provides financing for medium-sized businesses owned by private equity firms and private wealth/family office firms.

With more than 30 years of commercial lending experience, Mr. Fruhling held C-level and EVP posts at community and regional banks before joining Alliance Bank of Arizona in 2012. He is a past president of the Arizona Bankers Association and a past board chair for Honorhealth, an integrated health system in Phoenix and Scottsdale.

Mr. Fruhling earned his pilot’s license in 1975 and is a commercial-rated pilot with more than 2,000 hours of flight time. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Illinois.
