
Sondra R. Monroe is vice president for Western Alliance Bank’s Settlement Services Group.
Ms. Monroe has over two decades of strategic and client development experience in the financial services and legal industries, with over 15 years’ experience as a relationship manager focusing on escrow, investment and distribution services for class action and mass tort settlement funds.
Her extensive expertise includes collaboration with law firms practicing in antitrust, consumer fraud, securities, product liability, finance, and employment, and with government agencies and corporations.
Prior to joining Western Alliance Bank, Ms. Monroe was instrumental in the creation and launch of the new settlement fund escrow and claims administration businesses for two national banks. More recently, Monroe was director of class action services for two nationally recognized claims administrators, having worked on several notable cases.
Dedicated to volunteer work, Ms. Monroe has served as a United Way board member and co-chairman of the marketing/planning committee, and an ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Monroe was chosen as a member of Leaders for a New Century, Women on the Move, and Outstanding Women in Business. She is an advisory board member and corporate outreach task force for Women Owned Law, and is a Public Justice State Ambassador and on the membership committee for Public Justice.
Monroe received a Juris Doctor from Charlotte School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi.
