Jessica Jarvi

Deputy General Counsel

Jessica Jarvi has been Deputy General Counsel for Western Alliance Bancorporation since 2013, and in-house counsel for the Company since 2007. Ms. Jarvi is responsible for the Bank’s Legal and CRA departments, and is spearheading its 2020 diversity and inclusion initiatives. She joined the Company’s Senior Operating Committee in 2018.

Ms. Jarvi has practiced law since 2002, and began her legal career at Snell & Wilmer in Phoenix, Arizona. She graduated with honors from the University of Arizona, B.A., and Arizona State University, J.D. She participated in Kellogg School of Management Women’s Senior Leadership Program in 2015, was nominated as Arizona Public Company Counsel of the Year in 2017, and named one of the Most Influential Women in Arizona for 2019.

Ms. Jarvi stays active outside of the bank with her husband and three young children. A Phoenix native, Ms. Jarvi expresses her deep commitment to Arizona’s future through her service as Vice Chair on First Things First’s South Phoenix Regional Council.
