Ashan Perera serves as the managing director for a national specialty banking group that focuses on the gaming industry for Western Alliance Bank. Through his role, Mr. Perera travels throughout the United States building relationships and assisting gaming organizations with their merger, acquisition and growth capital needs.
Mr. Perera possesses over 20 years of finance and corporate banking experience and has become a trusted advisor to gaming company owners, tribal gaming enterprises, private equity firms and executives. Prior to joining the Western Alliance Bank team in 2018, he served as the managing director at Mutual of Omaha bank, overseeing the institution’s corporate and gaming portfolio nationwide.
Mr. Perera has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a professional MBA Certificate from Tulane University, A.B. Freeman School of Business.
