Merrill S. Wall
Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer

Merrill S. Wall has been Chief Administrative Officer and Executive Vice President of Western Alliance since February 2005. His responsibilities include Administration, Human Resources, Executive Recruiting and Compensation, Training, Vendor Management and Merger Integration. Mr. Wall has 45 years of banking experience and, prior to Western Alliance, he served as Executive Vice President and Director of Human Resources for Zions Bancorporation and its subsidiary, California Bank & Trust, from October 1998 to February 2005. From 1987 to 1998, Mr. Wall worked for H.F. Ahmanson/Home Savings of America as a senior executive managing both human resources and training corporate-wide. Mr. Wall also spent 17 years with First Interstate Bancorp in a variety of commercial, retail and administrative positions. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University with a B.A. in Communications and a graduate of Stonier Graduate School of Banking, Rutgers University.
